Logbook Extension

A Logbook Extension is required when your vehicle’s logbook has no remaining space in either:
- Scrutiny / Event History pages, or
- New Ownership section
Once full, the logbook must be extended before further information can be added.

How to Apply
To request a Logbook Extension:
- Download and complete the Logbook Extension application form
- Fill in all details to the best of your ability
- Include any changes to the vehicle (e.g. colour, engine, specifications)
- Attach clear front and rear 3/4 photos of the vehicle (examples are provided on the form)
- Send the completed form and logbook via post to:
- Motorsport Australia
- PO Box 172
- Canterbury LPO
- VIC 3126
Processing Time
Once your application and logbook are received:
- Processing takes approximately 10–15 business days
- Note: This does not include postage times
Payment
- Payment is processed after the service is completed
- You will receive an email with an invoice attached
