The conditional registration scheme available in Queensland is known as Rally Vehicle Registration Scheme or RVRS provided by the Department of Transport & Main Roads. This is a registration that allows operation of a rally vehicle holding a Motorsport Australia logbook on public roads between rally stages.
To obtain an Authority to Operate you will require the following:
- A valid and active Motorsport Australia Rally Licence
- An active Motorsport Australia logbook categorised in within Rally
- Confirmation of vehicle usage in one rally event prior to Authority to Operate
- Inspection of the vehicle by an Approved Inspector
